Hey Conga fans. I'm Steve (amorysuerte), a 33 year old bloke from Northern Ireland who's a total estefanatic. Buy at least 2 copies of everything I can by Gloria, just in case something should happen to one of them (!)

Am predominantly a silent lurker this past 7 or 8 years on Conga (my former username was froste), but still as loyal a Gloria fan as ever.

I have been a Gloria fan since December '88 when the Homecoming Tour was televised in the UK @ Conga just drew me in. Since then I have been fortunate to see Gloria 4 times in concert (3 times in Dublin and in Madison Square Garden also!), and met Gloria in 1996 in Dublin, & also gave her 2 bunches of flowers during her show and she thanked me personally - my autograph has pride of place in my house in a framed Destiny poster (one of the most lush, brilliant albums ever!).

Unfortunately I have not been in a position to travel to the US for either Gloria concerts post-1996, nor the Bashes, but rest assured the next one I'll be there to meet all my fellow conga-ers!

September 2007: Well, my dreams of finally attending a Conga bash were finally realised last week in Rotterdam! A totally estefantastic experience in every way - from meeting so many great Conga-ers, to seeing Gloria perform again since the Evolution Tour, for getting 2 copies of 90 Millas a week earlier than the UK (it's AMAZING), and to meeting Gloria again - (she wrote some really lovely message on the cd covers I asked her to sign, which was a thrill!), having a really good chat with Marco, Clay and Emilio, who was fantastic. I'm still in a whirl from it all!! It made for one special weekend and I'm so glad I got to share the experiences with so many fellow Gloria fans! Til next time, amorysuerte xx

Also visiting South America (Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Rio & Buenos Aireas) in December 2007 and NYC in November 2007, and would be interested in meeting any Gloria fans in the area!
