So firstly I have to say......I love Gloria Estefan!!!!!! I live & breathe this fantastic lady.

Ok so I was first introduced to Gloria's unbelievable talent when I was 8yrs old back in 1990. My Mum would play her records constantly & we would dance around & sing. My first ever album I listened to was Cuts Both Ways & it is still one of my faves. Anyway fastforward a bit. After my parents seperated & I went to live with my Dad, Gloria became my connection to my Mum when I wasn't with her. This is still the case now. I moved to Canada when I was 19, with my Dad, & I still associate Gloria with my Mum. We try & see each other regularly but there are times when I really miss her. So Gloria Estefan means alot to me & thats why I'm very excited & honoured to be a part of this unique group.

The greatest thing ever is that on May 27th I have tickets to go to my very first Gloria Estefan concert! I'm very, very excited! I talk about it everyday. After joining this group, I learned that a few other Conga members will be attending the show & meeting up so I'm really looking forward to that. Maybe getting to meet Gloria after the show will definately be a dream come true also but I have my fingers crossed. I'm just so grateful to be going to my first ever concert!
