Hello,

I am Jessica Ramirez. I am also one of Gloria's many fans!

I am from San Antonio, Texas. I was born here and have lived here for most of my life. I am a Language Arts middle school teacher--this coming year will be my tenth year. Teaching middle school children is always a challenge, but I enjoy the craziness of it all. My students always manage to brighten my days by bringing a smile to my face and creating laughter in my world--they say and do the most endearing things!

I love to read books. My favorites are murder mysteries with a touch of romance. I also enjoy going to the beach.

I have been a fan of Gloria's since the early 1980's. I had a friend back then who aspired to be a singer, and she was always singing Gloria's songs. I am good friends with another one of Gloria's fans, Kathy Gonzales. She and I have been able to attend several of Gloria's concerts together over the years. We also work at the same school.

Gloria's final tour has been wonderful so far, and I'm sure the remainder will only get better--Gloria always gives knock-out performances! I was finally able to meet Gloria and shake her hand in Laredo; she is such a kind, down-to-earth person, and I respect her immensely for being so. Also, I have been fortunate to meet many Conga members along the way, and I hope to meet many more in Miami.

One more bit of information. I have two dogs and a cat whom I love very much. They are Dody, a Jack Russell Terrier, Toby, a West Highland Terrier, and Milo, an orange tabby cat. I consider them my children; they bring so much joy to my life!!!
