Why I became a fan.
When I was younger I heard the song "Conga" and taped the song. I used to dance around my room to this song (I was young). I had no idea who this person was. Later I had heard "Coming Out of the Dark" on the radio. The DJ then described small details of the accident. After I heard all the details of the song, I feel in love. I continued to become a big fan. Now I am one of the psycho Gloria fans that take spur of the moment trips to far off places!

My favorite Gloria performance: Like the other funky chicken girls, I have to go with LBR.

I have seen Gloria a total of 4 times. The first time was at The View. It was such a great feeling to see her in person. I poked her in the shoulder for 5 minutes to get a picture (sorry Gloria). Unfortunatly the picture didn't come out. A day later, we went to the Today Show and the funky chicken craze started. This was the first time I had ever talked to Gloria. This was a great feeling, but LBR was even better. It was great for many reasons. First, I was able to get front row tickets when I got there (I had none when I arrived in New York..like I said psycho Gloria fans). Then she did the funky chicken for us on stage. At the very end of the show, Gloria invited a group of us to the stage to sing with her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After the show, Gloria spent about 30 min outside with us taking pictures and dancing the funky chicken!!! There is no way to truly explain how great of a love I have for Gloria. She truly cares for her fans! The last Gloria experience was the conga bash. Myself, the other funky chicken girls, and Angel Max went in the back office with Gloria to give her flowers. I showed her my tattoo that has her initials in it. We laughed and joked about my eyebrow ring, tattoo, Nayib's tattoo, and why Gloria couldn't get a tattoo. Forever I will remember that Gloria told me to get a tattoo on my butt!!! I hope for many other great Gloria events to come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
