Hi, my name is Debra Gloria.
I first became a fan of Gloria's when Conga hit the airwaves. I was around
the day MTV hit the air and the first video I saw of Gloria's was Conga...She
was great...full of energy and life! I have only seen her twice in concert,
however I do have the opportunity to go to the millennium concert and I am
really excited!
I am a professional
photographer, a dream of mine is to shoot a CD cover for her...who knows
if I ever will have that opportunity and if it will ever happen. Either way
I will keep my dreams and aspirations precious and close to my heart. As
Gloria would say, "Where some people see boundaries, we see bridges" I truly
admire Gloria and Emilio for her morality and family values...thank God for
them! The Estefan's are positive role model for all of us.
I was studying to be a
Dentist, it was time for my scheduled appointment to see my counselor and
she told me I needed to take more extra curricular credits for the next
semester...before I could say another word, she told me, "No Physical Ed
classes!"
Well, I was always fascinated
with how pictures were developed, so I decided to take a photography
class...photography came to me naturally, like breathing! After a year, I
was a student teacher helping numerous students at college. I knew this was
what I was supposed to do...so, here I am today, a Professional Photographer.
I have been in business in Dallas, Texas for 10 years...at times it has been
a struggle, and others it has been wonderful!!! Someone once told me, "Do
what you love, and everything will fall into place, as it should." I love
my job, and I feel I am extremely blessed to be given such a talent by the
Lord. I often give my services to those who are unable to afford it...there
is nothing like seeing someone's face light up, or a tear drop from someone's
face because you captured something so precious to them...Priceless!
That in itself is so much
more to me than a dollar.
