From Egypt to New Jersey and Ocean and a few seas apart, Gloria has an
amazing magneticism. I've been a fan since Dr. Beat, I was born in '78, and
my mother thinks I'm crazy, I dragged her and my brother out to Mohegan Sun
just to see Gloria, I have my Gloria cap, I made my own Gloria wallpaper for
my compt, and all my Gloria CD's are in their own box. My first concert
ever was Evolution Tour, 1996 at Madison Square Garden. I can't pick just
one song to say that is my fav Gloria song, because as we all know there are
so many to choose from, although I do favor: I See Your Smile, Con Los Aņos
Que Me Quedan, Can't Walk Away From Love, Everlasting Love, Always Tomorrow,
Tres Deseos, Orange Express (A Toda Maquina), and The whole Destiny CD.
I've always said Gloria's music just makes me happy, no matter where I am
and I get to hear a Gloria song, I just have to smile, because that's just
the vibe I get from her music. Her positive energy and charisma just comes
through each song. I'm a New Yorker, who has managed to not be in New York
during most major Gloria sightings, at one point I was in a different
continent. I've never met Gloria, but I'm convinced she noticed I was in the
audience at Mohegan Sun because I wasn't dancing and she looked toward where
we were sitting and said to move left and right or just stand there too,
(I'm not a good dancer), and I think I was the only one that wasn't dancing,
we had an excellent view so I was just happy to be there.
I'm hopefully (if all goes well) going to be attending the University of
Baltimore for Grad School this fall, so this is a whole new environment for
me, and my Glo cd's are going with me. I'll be studying Communications
design, so one day I can either run my own magazine, or see one of my
creations atop a building in Times Square. Although Gloria is at the top of
my music favs, I listen to a little bit of everything, this includes Bon
Jovi, Kabah, Selena, Enrique Iglesias, No Doubt, Savage Garden (Now defunct,
but I still love them), Shakira, Sixpence Non the Richer, Aerosmith,
Aaliyah, Oasis, Backstreet Boys, La Oreja de Van Gogh.... So I'm basically
all over the planet.
I'm an artsy type person, like writing, reading , drawing, and aparently
missed school so much I'm going back. There's so much more I can say, but I
think that's enough for now, if anyone's in Maryland and can give me a tour
I'd be more than happy to attend.
