I'm Con age 22 (in 03) and been Gloria fan since around 94 ( Hold Me.. album). I live in the North East of England and managed to be lucky enough to get a 2nd row ticket for Gloria's 1996 Evolution Tour here in England, when she came to Newcastle. Since then, I have collected her singles, albums and videos etc and have become a huge fan - she also sent me a signed photo.

In August 2003,when I found out she was doing the 'Live & Unwrapped' shows, I booked a holiday to Las Vegas and enjoyed the show in the 13th row, on the 11th Oct, which was filmed. It was out of this world and definately worth the journey, and the 7 year wait!!!! As I went in and was drinking my champagne, I really couldn't believe where I was - and that I was just about to see Gloria again!! My friend, Will, was also in Vegas with me, and was at the Arena as I went in, and would agree that I was really excited before I went in - and walking down 'The Strip' and having Gloria appear on the huge adverts didn't exactly help!!!! I had an amazing week and will never forget it - the DVD will be a great reminder.

I have never met Gloria, or saw her offstage, but there's always hope!! I would love to attend the next 'Conga Bash' so will hopefully get to meet a lot of you then - and also at the concerts planned for the 2004 World Tour!!!

Is a real shame that Gloria doesn't bother with the UK much anymore, she is huge in the US and Mainland Europe, yet most people here in Britain think that she is a 'has been' - and don't realise she is still recording, as she receives no airplay and does very little ( if any ) promotion.

Not sure that I have a favourite song - so I will have to keep listening to her music until I decide!!!!
