How we met Gloria:
My husband, Jose & I had the great privilege of meeting Gloria & Emilio at the Virgin Mega store in NYC for the record signing of GLORIA! I was 9 months pregnant with my second daughter & we waited in line for 4 hours. But we had to pre-purchase the CD, which Jose did 2 days prior. When we met Gloria I was in total shock, that I didn't even know what to say. Gloria asked us our names & when was our baby due to arrive. I asked her is she would sign my t-shirt from the Evolution Tour that I was wearing & she said, "sure my pleasure." Gloria then rubbed my belly & she told me that she missed being pregnant & for me to enjoy that special time. As Gloria rubbed my belly & signed my t-shirt, I got a contraction & I told her. So Gloria said, "the baby must be excited too." We then gave Gloria a big hug, a kiss & ofcoarse we took some pictures. She wished us lots of luck & for a healthy baby. I couldn't believe this was happening to us, it was such a surreal moment. 5 days later my daughter, Gabriela was born. We will never forget those special moments we shared with Gloria. These are beautiful memories that we will cherish forever in our hearts. Hopefully there will be more.

We have been fans of Gloria since her Conga days. But through the years & after meeting her we have come to love & admire her, as if she were part of our own family. Gloria is truly a remarkable woman, who's sincere, genuine & who has a heart of gold. You're an inspiration to us & we love you Gloria!!!

I've been a member of GEIFC for over 3 years & I just recently became a member of Conga. I'm looking forward to meeting my fellow Conga members.
