The last 3 days were the best! I had the chance to see Gloria on many places.

September 6th:
I had won a contest on radio 2. It was a intimite and private concert for only 30 people. It was a great time!! First.. all the fans! Great to see some familiar faces, and great to meet finally the faces by the names!!

While waiting: David was rushing in, and looking for Josephine. We (Dennis and me) were talking about the bash that we gonna have on Saturday. I called to Josephine, so David could talk to her! Wish she was there too!! We also talked about the city hall on Friday, and he wants that CONGA is in tha house!!! LOL...

It was a wonderful concert. Very personal, great sound, Great people! Gloria took a lot of time for her fans. Lots of signings, taking photo's and chatting with us! She is just a warm person!!

Belle Perez was also in the studio. She is a singer from Belgium, and is also a big fan of Gloria. She had never met her before.

Friday 7th:
I went early in the morning with the train from the south of the Netherlands to Rotterdam. There I met Esmeralda and after a while also Dennis and Ray. We walk together to the city hall. Waited a long time over there! Gloria was arriving at 1. It was a longgggg time waiting for Gloria: Her die-hard fans were standing in the hall. There was a lot of press.. they were very pushy and agressive (the press, definately NOT Gloria and Emilio.. )

They were looking STUNNING!! Wow.. Gloria was looking great! Nice black outfit she wears.. Emilio was also very nice!! And a smell of perfume they had on them! Wow.. LOL

It was busy.. She didn't had much time. She went upstairs for (?) Don't know exactly??

After that she came into the garden. Press and people were running around her. I could see at Gloria's face that she didn't like that much. She rather would make some photo's with her fans.. (I was lucky to get on the picture, and I see that I am at wenn.com!!)

She made a bit time for her fans, but her people were "pushing" her a little bit. And those Press.. grr.. hate them! Very pushy and agressive!!

Anyway.. then we went with some conga-buddies to a cafe.. have a drink, a laugh.. And than sudden: Stephanie saw George Casas walking by! So we had to ask him for a drink! He said he would come with some bandmembers. Gloria wasn't able to come.

Also one guy from Sony was with them. I got his phone number, and we called if we could meet some people.

Gloria was doing a soundcheck with her band. That was a great experience!! Almost no-one on the shore.. but.. some die-hard fans were singing all the songs!! LOL..

Then we met Allan (Denmark) and his friend. Have something to eat with them and then go home!

Saturday 8th:
Conga Bash Rotterdam 2007 was a HIT!!

It was just great!! Started at Gloria's hotel with Josephine. We wanted to give her the first flyer I made of Conga Bash Rotterdam 2007. We went in, Frank Amadeo was sitting in the lobby, and he told us Gloria was sleeping. We gave the flyer to Frank, and made picture with him. (Correcting myself: Josephine was making a video of him.. LOL)

Then we went to the Media Markt so Josephine could buy Gloria's CD. Great CD. Nice cover!! I really love it!

Then we went to Amigo's!! Dennis was there already hanging up posters etc. Everyone was arriving, they got a namebadge, a flyer and a blue breaklight (CONGA IS IN THA HOUSE!) Amigo's is a great Cuban restaurant. I really loved the atmosphere over there. We all get a cocktail to started with! So it was PARTY TIME!! Gloria's Music was playing.

Nice to see that everyone had a great time! Talking with so many people from all over Europe (and the rest of the world!) The lunch also was superb! Great taste! I really loved it!!

Clay and Marco (from the band) came in to say Hi.. It was a really nice suprise of them! They chatted a while with the group.

After lunch and chatting, we went to the bar next door. "t Plein". There the group completed with some fans that came a little later.

With almost 60 Conga-bashers, we walked in Rotterdam to have a good place to stand to see Gloria in concert..

It was a great Concert. Only the stage was far away! But.. Gloria must have heard us singing, and having a good time. She was looking hot and full of energy, you cannot say Gloria is 50!!

After that, all who attended the conga bash meet up at "the walk of fame"( where Gloria's footprints are) and than we walked to our meet and greet at the hotel.

That was great!! Gloria takes time for everyone, making photo;s, signing stuff etc.

I really have enjoyed our Conga Bash Rotterdam! It was so great to see so many people from all over the world together!!
