I finally got to see Gloria live on stage after waiting for 20 long years yet it didn't come easy. I had dragged my then 7-month-old son and a babysitter with me to make sure I can attend the concert. I am forever grateful to Pete Johnson and Fred Boggs to have let us use their hotel room during the concert - otherwise I would have missed much more than just half the concert as my son Neil strongly disagreed with me on what I should be doing that night. Gloria was fantastic as always and my incredible bonus would come later as the mentioned angels Pete and Fred made sure I could see Gloria in the backstage! As luck would have it, my son slept sweetly through that time I spent with fellow fans and my husband Subir, met and chatted with Emilio (who was semi-shocked to learn we dragged Neil along) and eventually got a photoshoot with Gloria and exchanged a few words, too. A true dream come true! Viva la Conga!
