It is me, gloria, and I’m dabbing my eyes after reading this AMAZING gift that you put together for me!!
First I have to say THANK YOU everyone who contributed too my foundation!! Almost $4500! I am very impressed! Not only do you guys make this contribution every year (honestly, you’re the best) but you outdo yourselves when it comes to the beautiful gifts you make for me!
I can’t tell you enough how much it means to me that my music has meant something to you in your daily lives! That I have somehow inspired you is the best gift you could give me. And how would I know this is happening if you didn’t open up and share your thoughts with me? And after reading your book I imagine that for some of you it was difficult because of everything you have been through………
I see from your book that a lot of you have “hooked up” with partners that are also my fans! You are all too much!! Although I don’t know if your partners could handle being with you if they “didn’t” like my music…LOL I would love to hear those stories as well and hope that I haven’t been the cause for any divorces along the way….
I LOVE seeing your pictures and those of the special people in your lives, your babies, two-legged AND four, and all those artistic things you come up with!! Although I have to say that when you tattoo me or my autograph on you I can feel your parents cringing in my general direction. I know it’s showing your love but it’s SO PERMANENT!! I guess whoever has done that will simply have to love me forever……or at least until you’re old and wrinkly and the tattoo becomes something else…..LOL
But anyway, before I wear you out……..THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
