As usual, you guys (and girls) never disappoint! I received my gift from all of you and ,as was to be expected, it put a HUGE smile on my face. You all know better than anyone how important my Foundation is to me so your gift could not have been a better choice. I also know that to many of you your donation was a big sacrifice so double thanks for that! Now about the scrapbook........ It never ceases to amaze me how much time you all take to make something so special. I also loved the "directory" of all the members. It made me realize how well represented "the world" is on "Conga". I want to thank each and every one of you for your beautiful words which mean so much to me. I loved the pictures and the cards (sorry about the bee bite: you know who you are) and read each one with true delight.
I'm sure you all know about the concerts by now and I hope to see you "out there" in November. We're doing BOTH coasts so you won't be disappointed. I thought this would be a nice way to "have my cake and eat it too". In other words I'm doing a "tour" in the style I wanted to this year: with only TWO concerts! That's heaven for me, you know. Not that I don't enjoy seeing you all in your natural habitats (LOL) but I really wasn't in the mood for so much traveling. I know people who don't live in the U. S. will be a bit upset but I have to take things one step at a time. Rest assured that I still have plenty of surprises up my sleeve for all of you but can't say yet because (obviously) they wouldn't be surprises. For my birthday, which was on a saturday night this year, we had a "wild party" dancing under the full moon here at my home. What is it about full moons that makes people go "berserko"? It was a Luau and everyone was dressed (or undressed) Hawaian style. We had a blast and celebrated with friends and family till the wee hours! I missed my "Munkyman" on these special occassions: my birthday, his birthday and our 23rd anniversary. As you know he now resides in London. But we spoke at least four times on each day. If anyone on the list is over there please give him a call at Sony, London and say hello.
Well, I don't want to drag on too long but please know how happy you all make me and how often I think of all of you and SMILE!!! :0)
