Let me begin by thanking all of you for always being there for me, very especially at the Millennium Concert. I DEFINITELY felt your presence and love and it meant the world to me! To those that couldn't attend I'm sure I'll be seeing you somewhere down the road this summer on tour!
Your gifts were FANTASTIC! I loved each and every one and wish that I could send individual thank you's. But considering I haven't even been able to do that for Emily's birthday gifts yet........... you must know how busy I've been. So please accept my heartfelt thanks for all the wonderful tokens of your affection! The quilt was SPECTACULAR!!! I can't believe you all took the time to make and assemble such a special piece. And together with the book it makes me appreciate my conga fans even more. I have it in Emily's playroom where we can enjoy it every day. I also loved the "You're an EsteFAN if".............I laughed alot with that one!
Now for some news. The first single off the new album will be "No Me Dejes De Querer" which alot of you heard at the MC. It WAS going to be "Por Un Beso" but I believe that one will later on. I just finished an amazing photo session with David La Chapelle for the album cover. I believe you will all be very surprised. I thought it would be very difficult to do something new, fresh and different for what will be my 20th album. But I was thrilled with the look. By the way, I'm counting all the albums most people don't know about (the first seven) and greatest hits in both languages (in case you all start counting like I KNOW you will..............lol)! I believe this new album to be the best work I've ever done and hope you all feel this as well but..........I know you all to be of many minds (as well you SHOULD be). In any case I'm very proud of this album for many reasons and I'm dying for it to come out already!
