One of the birthday-gifts for Gloria's 45th birthday on September 1st, 2002 was "Anything for Food, the Conga World-Wide Cookbook". The title and idea for this book were inspired by Gloria's parody (Anything for Food) of her song "Anything for you". I thought a cookbook was a good idea, because it was something personal for Gloria, but also practical and it unites the different cultures from Conga-members world-wide. And .... who knows ? ..... "maybe by tasting all these flavors from around the world, Gloria might acquire the taste of making a new world-tour".
Josephine (isis104@yahoo.com) - the composer of this book - would like to thank all the participants (40 people with recipes from 21 different countries!) in this project and hope that Gloria likes the cookbook and will enjoy the recipes.

The box and the cover both mention "ANYTHING for FOOD, the conga world-wide cookbook" on it.
The 'second page' says : "This ANYTHING for FOOD, the conga world-wide cookbook is dedicated to GLORIA ESTEFAN - una gran mujer".
"Page Example 1" and "Page Example 2" give you an idea of what the pages look like. The top right corner shows the flag of the country of origin of the recipe (not visible on these pictures - sorry).
"Page Example 3" is a special 'World-wide recipe for friendship'. The pink part on this sheet says 'Happy birthday' in the language of each of the participants in this project (namely : spanish, english, dutch, french, portuguese, german, italian, hebrew, russian, turkish).
