Conga Bash 2007

BOAT TOUR OF MIAMI HARBOR:
Arrangements have been made for an EXCLUSIVE sightseeing boat tour featuring Gloria's house on Star Island for Conga Members who will be participating in the bash. The cost of the boat trip is $19.00 USD.

Departure time: 11 AM SHARP!!! Length of the trip is 90 minutes to 2 hours. We have specifically asked for a little more time than is usually given to "hang" at Gloria's backyard so that ALL may see her home.

LIMIT: The boat is only allowed to carry 140 persons (this is more than the number who attended the last bash).

Assistance will be provided in getting on the boat for those who need it. Individuals who are in wheel chairs will need to be either carried on to the boat first then placed back in their chairs or need to be able to walk onto the boat. We apologize for this inconvenience but the tide will either lift the boat equal with the pier or it will not. That is where our difficulty really lies on this issue. If you have concerns or questions regarding this please do not hesitate to ask. We will try our best to provide you with an answer.

The boat docks at Bayside Marketplace in Downtown Miami. The pier for the boat is located on the inside marina of Bayside as you walk towards the Hard Rock Cafe. The name of the boat is the Celebration. The boat does have an area on the boat that is air conditioned. Included in the price is a hot dog, chips, soda, cost of the ride, taxes, and the exclusivity for Conga only. Our apologies to vegetarians but there is no option on the hot dog as this is something that the owner includes in the ride.

DINNER AT ORIENTE:
Arrangements have been made to do an event at the Oriente restaurant located in the Cardozo Hotel. This event will take place Friday, March 16th, 2007 at 7:00 PM. Attached below you will find a listing of the menu that will be provided for us. The pricing for this event is $55.00 USD per person. This covers ALL of the items that you see in the menu:

TIME: Please arrive a little earlier than 7:00 PM so that you will have plenty of time to get to Miami Beach. Parking is available through the use of the valet or the public parking garage located next to the Cardozo Hotel just off of 13th Street.

ALCOHOLIC DRINKS: For those of you who would like your mojitos or any other drink, a cash bar will be set up at the event for you to obtain them.

VEGETARIANS: We attempted to select a menu that would provide you with some options as well. However, if there is an ABSOLUTE NEED that you will need another option please send an email to Cb07coordinators@aol.com explaining this. We will accommodate your needs to the best of our ability.

LIMIT: There is a LIMIT at this time for the event at Oriente. This LIMIT is currently being set at 60 persons. If we excel this number, then we will attempt to make arrangements with EEI to accommodate this. As payments are received for the event is what will determine your attendance to the event. We apologize for this inconvenience.

PAYMENT DEADLINE: Payments for ALL Conga Bash events must be received by January 31, 2007. Final date to request a refund for ALL Conga Bash events is February 15, 2007. No refunds will be issued after this date. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!! More information can be found on the "Payment Info" tab.
