Conga Bash 2007

Conga Bash 2007 will take place the weekend of March 16 - 17, 2007, with TMarie and Cynthia as CB07 Coordinators. Plans have been made, and they are now ready to begin taking reservations! The deadline to sign up for all Conga Bash 2007 weekend events is January 31, 2007, and all payment information is now posted in the "Payment Info" tab of this website.

The weekend will kick off on Friday March 16th with a boat tour around Miami Harbor (and more specifically, Gloria's own backyard!). The boat is reserved exclusively for Conga members, and should be a great way to get to know one another as we begin a fabulous weekend. Later that evening, plans are in place for a dinner at "Oriente", the restaurant at the Cardozo Hotel (for first time visitors to Miami - that is of course Gloria's hotel!). There are capacity limits to this dinner due to the size of the restaurant so be sure to make your reservations early! More details for both of these events can be found on the "Friday March 16" tab.

And of course...the main event! Conga Bash 2007 will take place on Saturday March 17th at Bongo's Cuban Cafe from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. There is sure to be food, music, good company and lots of fun! More information on the Conga Bash can be found on the "Saturday March 17" tab on the left.

The CB07 Coordinators have been able to secure a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn Downtown at a special discounted rate for Conga members. This is the closest hotel to Bongo's Cuban Cafe and is located in Bayside, which is where the boat tour departs on Friday. Please click on the link for "Hotel Info" to find out all the details on how to make your reservation under this room block, and you will also information on a number of other area hotels.

If that isn't enough fun for one weekend, there is also a Post Bash Cruise being organized by Cindita which departs on Monday March 19th. This is a 4 day Western Caribbean cruise on Carnival's Fascination Fun ship. You can find all the information you need on this cruise and how to sign up under the "Post Bash Cruise" tab.
